Selecting the Right Egress Window
At Force Basements, we use Boman Kemp products in all egress window installations. Egress windows may come in many different styles, including sliding windows, single- and double-hung windows, out- and in-swinging casements, and awning and reverse hopper windows. However, not all styles are created equal — styles such as awning windows may defeat the purpose of providing a safe exit. Your selected window style is entirely your choice, but we recommend double-pane sliding windows so you don’t have to worry about obstructions in the path of your window.

Our team will meet with you and ask what prompted the call to us. After identifying the problem, we’ll recommend a solution — or solutions if more than one. Typically, an egress window will fit in place of a smaller, normal-sized basement window.
